This week on the pod, I got to sit down with my friend Sarah and honestly, it felt more like a fun brainstorming session than anything else. We got into branding—what it actually means today, how it’s changed, and why every single one of us is basically our own brand now.
It’s wild to think back… when we were in college, you couldn’t even get on Facebook without a college email address. Now, social media has completely transformed. Every time you post, share, or even comment—you’re building your personal brand whether you realize it or not.
Sarah has such a cool background and has worked in so many different roles over the years. She’s picked up little lessons from each chapter, and now she’s working in buying and merchandising for a big corporation. She knows her stuff when it comes to how brands connect with people and how much influence social media really has.
For me, this episode was a chance to talk through some of my own weak spots with social media and get inspired by Sarah’s perspective. I’m still figuring it out—how to grow, how to keep up with the trends, how to use it to actually connect. That’s why I loved this conversation so much. It was insightful, real, and just good to share ideas out loud.
If you’re curious about how branding has evolved, or if you’ve ever thought about how you show up as your own brand, this episode will definitely get you thinking.
