On this week’s episode of Tipsy Talk, Cat and I catch up over a drink (spoiler: it was terrible—we couldn’t even finish it, and honestly, that’s the most on-brand thing ever). But hey, that’s the whole vibe of Tipsy Talk: think happy hour energy with your best girlfriend—laughs, real convos, and a little bit of everything in between.
This week, we dove into something fun and fresh: Rae. She’s a character we created—my alter ego for an upcoming trip to Charleston. Rae is confident, stylish, unbothered, and ready to meet people. It’s part social experiment, part self-expression, and fully about stepping into a new kind of boldness. I’ll be embodying her in Charleston, and we’re manifesting cool, flirty energy and new connections. It was so much fun to brainstorm this with Cat, and I’m already excited to see where Rae takes me.
But it wasn’t all giggles and characters—we also got into the importance of financial goals. Money can feel overwhelming, but having a vision for where you want to be financially is so empowering. Whether it’s saving for a big move, paying off debt, or just building healthy habits, we talked about getting honest with your numbers and checking in with yourself about where you’re headed.
And then—one of my favorite new practices we discussed: the color walk. Ever heard of it? You set an intention before your walk (like, “Today I’m focusing on the color yellow”) and then take note of everything you see in that color. You can document it or just keep a mental list. It sounds simple, but it’s actually so grounding and soothing. Especially for someone like me who’s always walking while listening to music or a podcast—it’s a nice way to slow down and be present. I’m planning to do three color walks a week and weave them into my self-care routine. Highly recommend giving it a try.
We also chatted about upcoming Fourth of July plans—keeping it chill, of course—but overall this episode is exactly what Tipsy Talk is all about: light, real, and fun. Whether you’re tuning in for a laugh, a new perspective, or just to feel like you’re catching up with a friend, you’ll feel right at home.
