Hey friends —
Tipsy Talk: Episode 2 is officially here, and I honestly couldn’t be more excited about this mini-series within my podcast! If you’re new here, Tipsy Talk is my light-hearted, happy-hour-style spin-off that I co-host with my good friend Cat. Think fun, giggles, great conversations, and absolutely zero pressure to have a mission or structure — just two friends chatting, vibing, and usually sipping on something!
What makes Tipsy Talk so special is the energy: it’s carefree, it’s real, and it’s always a good time. Last episode, Cat and I cracked open a Brez and just… let the mics roll. No outline. No plan. Just pure banter and hilarious energy. And it worked — because what started as a spontaneous conversation turned into something we genuinely loved. And just like that, Tipsy Talk was born.
💫 Why We’re Doing This
So many podcasts lean serious — and don’t get me wrong, I love those deep-dive interviews and intentional conversations. But Tipsy Talk is the other side of the coin. It’s the space to unwind, laugh, and let the chaos be part of the charm.
It’s not even about drinking — although we’re currently working our way through the Brez lineup (recommendations welcome 😉). One day it might be a margarita, another day it might just be kombucha in a wine glass. The point is the vibe: unfiltered, unbothered, and unapologetically fun.
🎧 What You’ll Hear in Episode 2
In this episode, we talk about everything and nothing at all. It’s bantery, and it’s the kind of episode where you feel like you’re sitting at the table with us. You’ll hear us laughing about podcasting behind-the-scenes chaos (like my XLR wire giving up on me mid-interview 🙃), and Cat reminding me that yes — sometimes we’ve gotta just “rig it up” and roll with it.
It’s a reminder that perfection isn’t the point — connection is.
🧢 Coming Soon: Tipsy Talk Merch?!
Not to give away too much too soon, but I’ve got Tipsy Talk sweatshirt designs on the brain. Picture cozy, oversized sweatshirts for your Friday listening sessions — maybe with your own Brez in hand. I want this to feel like a community — and that includes what we wear while we laugh together.
📬 Got Topic Ideas?
Is there something light, silly, or semi-deep-but-still-fun you want Cat and I to tackle? DM me, leave a comment, whatever works. We’d love to hear from you and include listener inspo in future episodes.
🎉 Final Thoughts
This podcast is still growing, and so am I. Through my interviews, I get to learn and evolve. Through Tipsy Talk, I get to exhale, laugh, and just be. And honestly? That mix — the serious and the silly — that’s what makes this whole journey feel real and sustainable.
Thanks for being part of it.
Cheers to Tipsy Talk Friday, cozy sweatshirts, and friends that make podcasting fun.
Until next week,
💜
Marissa
