This week, I had the absolute privilege of sitting down with my inspiring friend, Corey—the visionary behind Coco Market, a wellness-centered community experience held monthly in downtown Delray Beach, Florida. If you haven’t heard of Coco Market yet, let me introduce you to something truly magical.
Corey is one of those rare souls who not only had a dream but followed it fearlessly. She built Coco Market from the ground up, turning an inner knowing into a thriving hub for wellness, creativity, and connection. In our interview, she opened up about how this all began—from a spark during her yoga teacher training to trusting her instincts and bringing this idea to life, one conversation and connection at a time.
Coco Market isn’t just a market. It’s a movement. It brings together everything from yoga studios offering free classes to small-batch skincare creators, herbalists, jewelry designers, clothing vendors, and more. If it’s wellness-related and made from the heart, you’ll find it at Coco. But more than the products and the beautiful setup, it’s the energy of the space that hits you. Whether you go with friends or show up solo, I can almost guarantee you’ll leave having made a meaningful connection. It’s that kind of place.
What struck me the most during our conversation was hearing how much of herself Corey has poured into every inch of this experience. She’s the one behind the branding, the artwork, the systems—yes, even the binder full of procedures and policies! All of it, from her mind and her heart, crafted with intention.
Even more powerful? Corey didn’t have all the answers when she started. She just started. She followed the urge, talked to people, shared her vision, and the right vendors and opportunities came to her organically. That kind of magnetism doesn’t come from following a formula—it comes from trusting your purpose.
Like many visionaries, Corey heard the doubts from others. Some questioned her plans or told her it wouldn’t work. But instead of letting that stop her, she acknowledged their input, stayed rooted in her gut instinct, and moved forward. That kind of resilience, especially when things got hard, is exactly what sets her apart.
Being around someone like Corey, who’s not only creative and driven but truly in service of others, is electric. You feel it. And it’s a reminder to all of us that when you move from the heart—when you stop waiting for perfection or permission—amazing things can happen. Coco Market is living proof of that.
One quick (and slightly painful) side note: we thought we videoed the interview, but the footage mysteriously vanished. Thankfully, the audio survived—and thank goodness, because her story needs to be heard. I can’t wait for you to listen.
If Corey’s story touches you or if you want to connect with her, she’s a wonderful mentor and a light in this community. I’ll link her Instagram below—definitely reach out.
To wrap this up, one major takeaway I’m sitting with after this conversation is this: if you feel called to create something, start. Talk about it. Share it. Let it evolve. You never know who you’ll meet or how many lives you’ll change just by stepping into what feels aligned for you.
Corey did. And look what happened!
